The good news is that no one needs to be present at the time your box is delivered to sign for it. It will be left by your mail carrier wherever they normally leave your small packages (yay for no alcohol in the box!).
We do recommend refrigeration as soon as possible for any boxes that contain perishable items. So if you’ll be absent for longer than a day after your box arrives, it's best to change the shipping address for that shipment to that of someone who can receive and hold your box for you. You can update the shipping address from your account by clicking “Share this Box” and choosing a different existing address or submitting a new one. If it's already on the way, you can keep a close eye on the tracking information and recruit a friend or neighbor to pick it up on your behalf. If neither of these options are possible, you can write to us at [email protected] and request a delayed shipment instead. We can't always guarantee we’ll be able to accommodate due to limited supply, but we’re happy to do our best to work with you!
